Narrative by slides: the story in the simplest possible form

Join the adventure at Magic School! An impostor from a space station has shrunk and stolen landmarks from various countries. It's up to our young detectives to find the impostor and recover the landmarks.

Grammar: past tense (was/were)

Vocabulary: countries (Egypt, France, Italy, England, China, Australia) and continents (Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe)

Slides 1-2: Sound activation, lesson introduction and warm-up discussion on landmarks.

Slides 3-9: Story and mission introduction (There is an impostor among us and famous landmarks have gone missing from around the world. We need to work as a team using critical thinking skills to find out who the impostor is!)

Slides 10-13: CTB discussion on space and 'Among Us' game, followed by an activity to choose a crew member suit and an emergency meeting to recap the mission.

Slides 14-19: Connecting wires to make questions on countries and continents.

Slides 20-24: Matching landmarks to their country (past tense practice).

Slides 25-26: CTB discussion on the weather in various countries (past tense practice).

Slides 27-33: Impostor reveal and mission wrap up (the impostor was ejected from the spaceship and we discover all the hidden landmarks).

Slides 34-38: Mission completion, congratulations, lesson evaluation, extension activity and goodbye.
