The music for the fountains was played live. As time passed, they found new ways to control the fountains. They used paper cards with holes, magnetic tape, or CDs to store the choreography and music. Nowadays, some fountains can even work automatically without anyone controlling them. Technology has made the fountains very clever and impressive!
