Narrative by slides: the story in the simplest possible form

A mischievous little elf falls through a magic portal and accidentally ends up in a school for magic. He picks up a wand and casts spells that causes trouble wherever he goes. Students Sophie and Tom set off after him to try and get the wand back and undo the magical mischief he causes.

Slides 1-4: Warm-up and sound activation
Slides 5-8: Story & vocab introduction (leg(s), head, hand(s), feet, candy, sweet(s), chocolate) - An elf falls through a portal into a magic school, steals a wand and casts spells that cover students in candy.
Slide 9-10: Speaking slide - Ss to discuss their favourite sweets and candy (doughnut, lollipop, cake/pie, cupcake, candy apple, chocolate).
Slides 11-14: Introduction cont. - The elf goes back through the portal and takes the wand with him. Two students follow him. They need to get the wand back and find 3 magic runes to help their friends.
Slides 15-17: Event #1 - The elf mixes up the body parts of stonemen.
Slides 18-25: Vocab review & speaking practice (arm(s), hand(s), stomach, leg(s), foot, family vocab) - The students arrive and help the stonemen.
Slides 26-29: Event #2 - The elf changes a unicorn's horn into an ice cream.
Slides 30-33: Vocab review & speaking practice (arm(s), head, hand (s), neck, elbow(s), leg(s), shoulder(s), tooth, ear(s)) - The students arrive and help the unicorn.
Slides 34-38: Grammar introduction & practise (move, shake, stretch)
Slides 39-41: Event #3 - The elf turns a buggiebush into cotton candy.
Slides 42-43: Secondary vocab introduction & practise (numbers from 1-100) - The students arrive and help the buggiebush.
Slides 47-55 Vocab & grammar review & speaking practise (imperatives + body part vocab)
Slides 56-59: Story wrap-up
Slide 60 Student -to-student speaking final activity
